1.2. Recommendations to take this course

It is recommended that the student has passed related subjects that are scheduled previously. In particular, considering the skills of our subject, the student has acquired prior knowledge about: the concept and methods of psychobiology; evolution and genetics; structure and function of cells of the nervous system; neuroanatomy and development of the nervous system; neuronal plasticity; organization of sensory systems; neurophysiological mechanisms of learning, sleep, intake, sexual and emotional behaviors. In addition, students must have basic computer skills and know how to perform literature searches. It is essential to follow the course in the Moodle platform. Finally, it is recommended a sustained attendance to classes.

The methodology followed in this course is oriented towards achievement of the learning objectives based on lectures and practice sessions.
